The Isle of Man Contingent

The Scout Association – Isle of Man will be sending a party of Scouts along to the 2011 World Scout Jamboree, which will be taking place in Sweden from the 27. July to the 7. August 2011. To be able to take part as a participant, you need to have been born between the 25 July 1993 and 27 July 1997.

The Isle of Man sent a party of ten Scouts and one Leader to the 2007 World Scout Jamboree and we want to build on the success of that event by sending a similar number to Sweden in 2011.

A meeting will be held on the 13. October 2009, at 2nd Onchan’s Scout Headquarters, School Road Onchan, starting at 7.30pm, for all those interested in attending the Jamboree, together with their parents. After the meeting for those who wish to confirm their interest, a selection process will start.
