Event: 22nd World Scout Jamboree

The 22nd World Scout Jamboree is an official event of the World Organization of the Scout Movement where adolescent boys and girls can promote the purpose, principles and method of Scouting, assume greater responsibility for the unity of the Scout movement.
Scouts/Venturers aged 14 but have not yet turned 18 years of age, both male and female, who are members of Scouts Australia. Members over the age of 18 can participate as members of the International Service Team.
The Jamboree will be held on the fields of Rinkaby, not far from the town of Kristianstad, in the province of Skåne, southern Sweden.
The theme of the 22nd World Scout Jamboree is Simply Scouting. The aim is to give the participants an experience of simplicity when it comes to meetings between cultures and people, relations to nature and solidarity. It is easy to take actions that make a difference.
Once the contingent is finalised the Contingent Fee will be set however the Contingent Fee will be between $7,000.00 to $8,000.00. This will include all transfers, airfares, camping, meals and main programme activities.
The programme for the 22nd World Scout Jamboree will be rich and varied. Major elements that have been developed through previous World Scout Jamborees, including the Global Development Village and the Crossroads of Culture, will be there, as well as plenty of new activities from Sweden and other countries.
The programme will be a combination of pre-booked and join-in-activities. Spontaneous meetings often lead to new insights and lifelong friendships. During the jamboree there will be a few large events when all participants are gathered for memorable festivities.
